Our Mentor Captain Bhagirath

Hon Capt. Bhagirath Singh is twice Asian games, bronze medallist, in 2002 (Busan, South Korea) & 2006 (Doha, Qatar) representing India and a proud owner of 12 International Medals, 209 National medals & 60 plus individual trophies in Equestrian Sports & Horse Riding. He was placed Fourth in 15th Asian games for Eventing.

Capt. Bhagirath Singh has served for the Remount Veterinary Corps of the Indian Army in the rider trade for almost 22 years. He possesses a vast amount of knowledge in the Defence & Security Mechanisms while also being a master in the Equestrian Industry. He is one of India’s most advanced and experienced coaches dealing with Equestrian Sports.

Hon Capt. Bhagirath Singh established Sagar Equestrian Sports Academy in 2015 with a motto of training and nurturing young professionals and students in Equestrian Sports to promote wellness and being through Equestrian Sports.
